How do you get to the Divine Tower in Caelid? ›

You can access this area via the Bestial Sanctum, to the north, or by completing the puzzle at Sellia, Town of Sorcery and making your way past the barrier. However you choose to get there, the closest Site of Grace is just to the tower's southwest.

After defeating the soldier, step on the pressure plate to summon a lift. Ride the lift up and follow the path around to the left. Along the wall to the right is a ladder that will lead you up to the locked door you encountered earlier, allowing a shortcut.

You can get to Limgrave's Divine Tower as soon as you have access to Stormveil Castle, though you won't be able to open the door there until you've beaten Godrick the Grafted. But once you have Godrick's Great Rune in your possession, you can take it to the tower to restore it.

For Radahn's Great Rune, restoration can be achieved at the Divine Tower of Caelid on the north coast of Greyoll's Dragonbarrow. To get to the Dragonbarrow in the first place, head to the Third Church of Marika and take the teleporter hidden in a bush just to the northeast.

The Godskin Apostle is a boss variant located at the bottom of the Divine Tower of Caelid Dungeon.

Location Found. Radahn's Great Rune is obtained by defeating Starscourge Radahn in the Wailing Dunes of Caelid, after clearing Redmane Castle. The Great Rune must also be activated at the Divine Tower of Caelid before it can be used.

Like all Divine Towers, the respective shardbearer, Malenia, must be killed before the doors can be opened.

1 Godrick's Great Rune

Godrick's is the first of Elden Ring's Great Runes you acquire and provides a rock-solid buff that cannot be ignored. Dropped as a reward for defeating Godrick the Grafted at Stormveil Castle, Godrick's Great Rune gives all your attributes +5 bonuses.

You will arrive on a balcony with a long ladder to the right. This ladder leads up to a room where you can unlock the door from earlier to gain a shortcut in case you die in the next section. Head back down the ladder and continue along the corridor to find a Blackflame Monk patrolling the hallway.

Now, you can either take a left turn to head downwards and face more enemies; or you can take a right turn to reach the tower summit. Head through the big double doors and take the elevator up to the top in order to restore Radahn's Great Rune, in much the same way as you restored Godrick's Great Rune previously.

The health increase from the +5 vigor Godrick's rune provides drops below 15% at 37 vigor. The low per-level increase to stamina from Endurance and the high starting value means Radahn's rune is always better than Godrick's.

To restore the Great Rune: Head to the Divine Tower of West Altus accessed through the Sealed Tunnel dungeon in the Capital Outskirts. The door will not open unless Rykard has been defeated but there is a site of grace so you can come back later.

Atop the Tower of Return, a trap chest takes you to the Divine Bridge in Leyndell, Royal Capital. From the Divine Bridge head southwest toward the Golem guarding the second warp gate. This one takes you to the Isolated Divine tower where you activate the Great Rune.
